Sursa ATX fara -5V

Salut, a venit la reparat un calc. K6 cu sursa defecta--de 350w.S-a montat o sursa de 450w si calc a functionat.Sursa era de test si nu o puteam lasa, asa ca am luat o alta sursa testata dar vent procesorului nu a pornit.Am observat ca a doua sursa nu avea firul alb (-5V).Am pus din nou prima sursa, vent a pornit dar nu am semnal video.Intrebarea este daca o sursa fara -5V poate cauza defect unui K6.Multumesc.

nu are cum sa defecteze altceva lipsa unei tensiuni,mai degraba probleme la placa video sau sursa montata nu merge bine la curentul necesar

Da, am imprumutat de la alt coleg o placa video (a lui era din 1992!!!!!!!!!!!!!) si a functionat.Imi era teama sa nu dea vina pe sursa mea.

din cate stiu eu generatia 2.x ATX ...chiar si 1.xATX nu mai aveau -5V ...pentru ca noile placi de baza nu au nevoie de -5V. Mai nou sunt tensiunile standard de +3,3V, +5V, +12V, -12V.....sau cel putin asa-mi aduc aminte.Daca vorbim de AT se schimba treabaPS.... si binenteles +5V pt StbyLE: hai c-am vorbit ca fraierul..... in ATX 1.x ( cu 20 pin) era prezenta si tensiunea de -5V....in schimb in ATX 2.x ..(24 pin).nu mai este necesara prezenta tensiunii de -5V ...de fapt multe firme l-au scos..... NA/NC
